I sometimes ponder about old Finnish art and books: such great fracturelessness and wisdom, why does it not carry in the modern world? Did the same happen in other countries to their traditional wisdom? I think that what the old times' art and books do not carry are cultural differencies in the modern world: the audience is just bigger than the works of art etc were planned for, culturally much too different and varied. In the modern world such pieces of art and books are read, watched and listened by many who are interested in that culture, so they should bring a very good result if applied abroad by people who like that culture's approach, want to try it out. They are likely to be the foreigners who largely handle that country's affairs in such things that demand knowing the culture and it's art and books at least somewhat. So if they cannot use something, they are likely to bypass it and change to othert subjects and so such wisdom does not carry, since it's audi
