When I at the age of 7, August 1978, entered school, I felt that the ways of thinking of school were much more stupid and stuck than my own objective thinking, my own level of wisdom at that age. And I felt that even though all did not think of it that way, there was to some extend the same effect to other kids, since learning to read is a completely new thing that requires recognizing shapes which often means recognizing styles which gets support from kind of philosophical and arts' view on the world and some kind of understanding of structures, their strenght and the value of feelings. Likewise learning the basics of all basic school subjects, for example history's main lines and geagraphy, is a new thing on the first class, much more demanding task than school later on. So I felt that school did not use the potential of kids fully, even though the kid's background in having sung, drawn, played outdoors, done practical tasks, sports, being social, discussing etc was neede
